US /EMEA: All-in-one property management platform Guesty has announced its integration with Yale.

Yale, a smart security solutions provider, has now been integrated into Guesty to streamline access management for short-term rentals across EMEA and beyond.

The partnership enhances Guesty’s Locks Manager, allowing property managers to remotely generate and manage secure access codes for guests, staff, and service providers. The integration aims to improve security, eliminate physical key exchanges, and enhance guest experiences.

Key features include:

  • Remote lock management: Property managers can lock and unlock doors, refresh codes, and oversee entries from a single platform.
  • Real-time monitoring: Lock performance can be tracked to ensure functionality.
  • Automated check-in: Guests receive access codes in advance, removing the need for in-person key handovers.
  • Simplified access: A single access code can be used across designated areas within a property.

According to Guesty, the integration is intended to streamline access management and align with the increasing use of keyless entry in short-term rentals. Yale joins a list of smart lock providers supported by Guesty’s Locks Manager, which allows for centralised control of multiple security systems.

The integration comes at a time when short-term rental operators are increasingly turning to smart access solutions to streamline operations and enhance security. With more properties being managed remotely, keyless entry systems and automated access control have become practical solutions for reducing operational challenges, such as lost keys, last-minute check-ins, and unauthorised access.

Beyond convenience, there is also a growing regulatory focus on security and guest verification, particularly in markets where local authorities require stricter access management measures. Many operators are adopting remote monitoring tools to ensure compliance with safety regulations while improving the overall guest experience.

Yotam Aronovitz, senior director of business development at Guesty, said: “As short-term rentals scale, property managers need efficient, secure access management.”
